Legal Agreement & Store Compliance
These Terms comply with Apple App Store Terms of Service and Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement requirements. Please read them carefully before using our Service.

1. Eligibility
Minimum requirements to register and use Patro Patri.
1.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We do not allow users under 18 to use the Service.
1.2 Legal Capacity
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
1.3 Not Previously Removed
You must not have been previously removed from the Service by us for violation of these Terms.
1.4 One Account Per Person
Each person may maintain only one (1) active account on the Service. Duplicate accounts will be suspended or terminated.
2. Account Registration
Account security, accurate credentials, and verification requirements.
2.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account by providing:
- Valid email address
- Password meeting our security requirements
- Complete profile information as requested during onboarding
You may also register using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.
2.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
2.3 Accurate Information
Provide accurate, current, and complete information. False or misleading details result in termination.
2.4 Account Ownership
Your account is personal and cannot be transferred, sold, or assigned without prior written consent.
2.5 Profile Verification
Forged or manipulated identity documents will result in immediate termination and reporting.
3. Acceptable Use
Good faith interaction and genuine matrimonial purpose.
3.1 Purpose
Patro Patri is a matrimonial and relationship platform designed to help users find compatible life partners.
3.2 Good Faith
You agree to use the Service in good faith, treating other users with respect, dignity, and courtesy.
3.3 Honest Representation
Represent yourself accurately. Impersonation, catfishing, or misrepresenting your intentions is strictly prohibited.
4. User Profiles and Content
Profile standards, media restrictions, bio content, and photo rules.
4.1 Profile Accuracy
Your profile must accurately represent you. You agree not to:
- Use photos of other people
- Misrepresent your age, identity, marital status, or any other personal information
- Create fake profiles or use the Service for any deceptive purpose
- Misrepresent your intentions (e.g., using the platform for casual dating when seeking marriage)
4.4 Photo Requirements
- All profile photos must be of you (the account holder)
- At least one photo must be a selfie (face clearly visible)
- No nudity, explicit content, or sexually suggestive images
- No photos with weapons, drugs, or illegal substances
- No photos containing other people's faces without consent
- No watermarked, heavily filtered, or AI-generated photos
- No screenshots or photos of other people's profiles
4.5 Bio and Text Content
Your bio and profile text must NOT contain:
- Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language
- Sexually explicit language
- Personal contact information (phone numbers, social media handles, email addresses)
- Links to external websites or services
- Spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation
- Threats or violent language
4.2 Profile Ownership: You retain ownership of content you upload, granting us a limited license solely for operating the Service.
4.3 Profile Removal: We reserve the right to remove or modify any non-compliant content without prior notice.
5. Matching and Communication
Mutual matches, messaging standards, blocking, and reporting.
5.1 Match System & Chat
When two users express mutual interest (like each other), a match is created and real-time conversation opens.
5.4 Blocking and Reporting
You may block any user to prevent communication and report violations. All reports are investigated.
5.3 Messaging Standards
When communicating with other users, you agree to:
- Be respectful and courteous
- Not send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or repetitive content
- Not send messages containing hate speech, harassment, threats, or abusive language
- Not share links to external websites or services without prior consent
- Not solicit money, gifts, or financial assistance from other users
- Not attempt to move conversations off-platform prematurely
5.5 No Guarantee of Matches: We do not guarantee that you will receive any matches, likes, or messages. The Service provides discovery tools, but no guaranteed marital outcomes.
6. Identity Verification
National ID (NID) verification process, status, and encryption protocols.
6.1 Verification Process
We offer identity verification through National ID (NID) card submission, involving front and back image uploads, moderation review, and status notification.
6.5 NID Data Handling & Security
- Stored in encrypted, private cloud storage (Cloudinary authenticated access)
- Accessible only to our authorized verification team
- Deleted within 90 days of the verification decision
- Never shared with other users or third parties
7. Prohibited Conduct
Strictly prohibited activities that result in account termination.
7.1 Harmful Behavior
- Harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten other users
- Hate speech or discrimination (race, religion, gender, etc.)
- Send sexually explicit or unsolicited sexual content
- Stalk or monitor users without consent
- Sexual exploitation in any form
7.2 Fraud and Deception
- Create fake accounts or false identities
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use photos of others or AI-generated images
- Misrepresent marital status, age, or identity
- Catfishing or deceptive practices
7.3 Financial Exploitation
- Solicit money, gifts, or financial assistance
- Promote investment schemes or multi-level marketing
- Request financial details or payment info
- Romance scams or financial fraud
7.4 Technical Abuse & Illegal Acts
- Unauthorized access, bots, scrapers, crawlers
- Interfere with servers, malware, reverse engineering
- Illegal acts, human trafficking, drug promotion
- Commercial advertising or competitor recruitment
8. Intellectual Property
Ownership, software license, and DMCA copyright notice procedures.
8.1 Our Intellectual Property: The App, including design, code, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Patro Patri and protected by copyright and IP laws.
8.2 Limited License: We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use on your mobile device.
8.4 DMCA and Copyright Claims
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice containing details to:

9. User-Generated Content
Content standards, user responsibility, and moderation rights.
9.1 Responsibility: You are solely responsible for content you upload or share. We do not endorse user-generated content.
9.2 Content Standards: Content must comply with these Terms and local laws.
9.3 Monitoring & Removal: We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove non-compliant content without prior notice.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Incorporation of Privacy Policy and data security measures.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You may request deletion of your account and data at any time through Settings → Account → Delete Account or by contacting support.
11. Disclaimers
"As Is" service disclaimers and offline meeting safety advice.
11.2 No Guarantee of Results
We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or that you will find a suitable marriage partner through the Service.
11.3 User Interactions
We are not responsible for the conduct of users online or offline, nor the outcome of relationships formed.
11.5 Meeting Safety Instructions
You are solely responsible for your safety when meeting other users in person. Always:
- Meet in a public place for initial meetings
- Inform a friend or family member of your plans
- Never share personal financial information
- Trust your instincts and leave if you feel uncomfortable
- Do not leave drinks or personal items unattended
12. Limitation of Liability
Exclusion of damages and monetary liability caps.
12.1 Exclusion of Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Patro Patri, its directors, officers, or employees be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
12.2 Cap on Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR BDT 5,000, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
13. Indemnification
User obligation to defend and hold harmless Patro Patri.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Patro Patri, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
14. Termination
Account termination options by user or by platform.
14.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account in the App or by emailing mrfahim31@gmail.com.
14.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, prohibited conduct, fraud, or 12+ months of inactivity.
15. Dispute Resolution
Informal resolution, binding arbitration, and class action waiver.
15.1 Informal Resolution: Contact us at mrfahim31@gmail.com and attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days prior to formal dispute.
15.2 Binding Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration under the Bangladesh Arbitration Act, 2001 in Dhaka, Bangladesh (English language).
15.3 Class Action Waiver: All proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. Legal proceedings must be brought in courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and remaining provisions remain in full force.

Policy modification notifications and acceptance requirements.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated terms, updating the "Last Updated" date, and sending in-app notifications.

20. Apple App Store Requirements
Specific terms required by Apple Store Review Guidelines.
20.1 Apple's Role: Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no maintenance or support obligations.
20.2 Warranty & Claims: Apple is not responsible for addressing claims or IP infringement investigations relating to the App.
20.3 Guidelines Compliance: We strictly comply with Apple guidelines for matchmaking apps, age gating (18+), and privacy nutrition labels.
21. Google Play Store Requirements
Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement requirements.
21.1 Google's Role: Google is not a party to these Terms and has no maintenance obligations.
21.3 Developer Policy Compliance: Full compliance with Google Play content policies, mature content rating (17+), and Data Safety transparency.
21.5 Permissions & Store Listings: Minimum permissions requested with clear justifications in Data Safety disclosures.
